The first Imagined Museum of Contemporary Art opened in Florence in 2006.
350 maps were printed and distributed during the Festival “Rotte Metropolitane” (Urban Routes) in Florence. Visitors could pick up the map and seek for “art pieces” listed. In reality the “art pieces” listed were aesthetically interesting objects found from the streets and named with an according title.
Supported by GAI (The Association for the Circuit of the Young Italian Artists) and the City of Florence.
